As a result of the explosion, a senior fireman of the 4th DPRC, Yevgeny Donets, died. Another five rescuers were injured and injured of varying severity - now they are in medical institutions.



“Rescuers are deeply saddened by the death of a brother-firefighter and express words of sympathy to relatives and friends. In our memory, Evgeny will always remain a good friend, a sympathetic and kind person and a professional firefighter,” the State Emergency Service added..

On March 17, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported 19 dead rescuers.
