Ukraine will withdraw from five international agreements signed within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of energy. The corresponding resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the explanatory note, the legal framework on cooperation with the CIS in the energy sector has lost its practical application and should be revised.

Agreement on the Coordination of International Relations of States in the Field of the Use of Atomic Energy for Peaceful Purposes (May 31, 2013);
Agreement on the Coordination of International Relations of States in the Field of Electric Power Industry (February 14, 1992);
Agreement on the Basic Principles of Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy (June 26, 1992);
Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Basic Principles of Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy (May 31, 2013).
