The Parliamentary Committee supported the removal of immunity from Rosenblatt and his arrest

On Friday, July 7, the Verkhovna Rada regulatory committee supported the proposal of the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the People's Deputy Borislav Rosenblat.

Such a decision was made by the members of the committee during the meeting.

"The Committee believes that the submission of consent to bring to justice the people's deputy Andrei Lozovoy, the maintenance and submission to the Verkhovna Rada of the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko is lawful and motivated, as well as sufficiently substantiated. The Committee takes into account the information of the Prosecutor General concerning the possible abuse of power and official powers with regard to the conduct of operational search operations and secret detective-search actions, as well as the provocation of bribes ... The investigation will provide a legal assessment of these actions. This conclusion is proposed to be sent to the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada along with the presentation and explanations of the People's Deputy of Ukraine Borislav Rosenblat, ". Head of the committee Pavel Pynzenyk.

This decision was taken unanimously by the members of the committee.

In addition, the draft of the committee's conclusion regarding the representation of the Prosecutor General for giving consent for the detention of a people's deputy.

"The Committee considers that this submission is legitimate, reasoned, sufficient and justified.

The Committee decides to send the appropriate conclusion and submission to the Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubia, "added Pynzenyk.

It should be noted that the adoption of this decision was supported by 5 members of the committee, 3 - abstained.

After that, the committee supported the presentation of the head of the GPU on electing Rosenblat for a preventive measure in the form of arrest. In the course of voting, 5 members of the committee also supported the decision, 3 abstained.
