Higher educational institutions can independently establish minimum introductory scores for external independent evaluation (UPE). This was during a press conference said the director of the department of higher education of the Ministry of Education Oleg Sharov, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

"The minimum score will be set - so goes to all specialties - higher education institution. This is the right of a higher educational institution, "he said..

At the same time, Sharov stressed that if the institution establishes minimum scores, then they will be applied both for those entering the state procurement places, and for training under the contract.

At the same time, such a threshold can not be less than 100 points, since 100 points are the minimum score that can be passed to the VNO.

In turn, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Grinevich noted that the volume and distribution of the state order is being prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and will be considered at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the coming weeks.

Recall that the mandatory minimum of 150 points for VNO for admission to higher education for medical specialties was canceled, but the idea of ??minimum passing points remains.
