From May 1, the subsidy for the next period will not be received by Ukrainians, who have a two-month debt for housing and communal services.

This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine, referring to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Now citizens will be informed through SMS about the granting of subsidies.

If the Ukrainian within two months confirm payment of the debt or agree on its restructuring, then the grant is appointed from the expiration date of the previous. In another case - from the month when the citizens either confirmed payment or restructured the debt.

By the way, local authorities can now grant subsidies even when this is not provided for by law. Funding will be provided from local budgets.

Also now, for the purpose of allocating subsidies, taxes on the income of family members will be taken into account, taking into account the personal income tax.

Recall, since May 1 in Ukraine, the subsistence minimum and the minimum pension have risen, and the system of charging subsidies has changed.
