Researchers identified weapons as a spatu - a straight and long sword, which was originally used by Celtic auxiliary troops in the Roman army in the 1st century AD. Over time, this type of sword turned into a standard heavy weapon of Roman infantry until the 3rd century AD. The variation intended for cavalry had a rounded tip to prevent the injuries of a horseman or horse.

The sword was found in three parts, which prompted experts to the idea that it could be part of a funeral offer, probably associated with the burial.

Perezorsky culture associated with vandals consisted of several local groups that adopted Roman influences in certain regions. High -standing burials often included Roman imports, and the cremated remains were placed in the urns next to valuable objects.

Culture fell into decay at the end of the 5th century, in the period indicated by the Hunnian invasions and the breakdown of long -established trade ties, which contributed to social instability. In addition to the sword, experts found an ax and three amazingly well -preserved medieval spurs. These artifacts were also sent to the museum in Censtokhov for further study.

Representatives of the Inventum search association noted the importance of the find, noting that the region continues to give wonderful historical discoveries.
