Scientists conducted the study of the surface of the moon and found out how two deep and long valleys were created on the back of the moon. The study is published in the journal Nature Communications, writes Space.

The authors of the study used the data of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter orbital apparatus to better understand how two recesses were created on the back of the moon, known as the Schrodinger Valley and the Plack Valley Valley. These recesses are located next to Schrodinger Crater, which in turn is located near the largest crater on the moon called the South Pole - Eitken pool.

Schrodinger crater, 320 km wide, was created by the asteroid strike about 3.8 billion years ago. And the pool of the South Pole - Eitken, 2400 km wide, was also created by a asteroid blow 4.2 - 4.3 billion years ago.

Scientists studied Schrodinger crater for potential landing places for future robotic and manned missions to the moon. In order to better understand how the Schrodinger valley and the plank valley were created, scientists created the maps of the surface of the moon based on photographs of the orbital apparatus to calculate the direction and speed of the flight of stones thrown out during the fall of the asteroid, as a result of which the Schredinger crater was formed.

The Schrodinger valley has a length of 270 km and a depth of about 2.7 km, and the bar valley has a length of 280 km and a depth of about 3.5 km. The famous large canyon in the United States has a length of 446 whom, but its depth is 1.9 km.

Both valleys were created as a result of the fall of stones that scattered after the creation of the Shrodinger crater. The calculations of scientists have shown that these stones flew at a speed of 3420 to 4600 km/h. In this case, the average bullet speed is 2500 km/h.

Scientists believe that the energy necessary to create two valleys is more than 130 times higher than the energy from the explosion of all nuclear weapons on Earth. The calculations also showed that it took about 10 minutes to create two valleys, given the impact of the flight speed of the stones. For comparison, a large canyon, which was cut out with current water, was created in about 1 million years.

According to the authors of the study, the angle of the fall of the asteroid, which created the crater Schrodinger, led to the fact that the stones from the blow were unevenly scattered in the vicinity.

As Focus already wrote, there can be 12,500 civilizations in the Milky Way and we can be descendants of aliens from deep cosmos. Given the available research data, there is a possibility that there are other developed civilizations in the universe.

Focus also wrote that the Trump administration removed the stone from the US president, which the astronauts brought with them, who last visited the moon.
