More than 90 thousand participants from all over the world took part in the competition, forming about 10 thousand teams. Of these, about a thousand projects were evaluated directly by NASA. The Ukrainian team was recognized as the best in the Galactic Impact category.
The winning project of the team from the Kyiv Aviation Institute is an innovative NVS-knot application that integrates satellite and hydrological data to assess soil moisture and reduce water risks when planting crops. It will help farmers and improve food security.
