News aggregator Google News has stopped issuing links to the publications of the St. Petersburg edition of the Federal News Agency (FAN), which, as it turned out, is associated with the Russian "troll factory", informs "Medusa".

"In doing so, on Google. News was also deleted and the archive of all FAN news since the establishment of the agency, "- says the report of the FAN.

The agency called the actions of Google "an act of political censorship, which is beneficial to the US government, designed to restrict the dissemination of information on the fight against international terrorism". The agency is also going to complain to the court, the antimonopoly service and "other controlling bodies".

FAN argues that it is better than other publications to cover the conflict in Syria - in particular, the actions of the Syrian government army and Russian troops against terrorist groups.

The FAN was established in 2014 in St. Petersburg. Earlier it was reported that the agency is part of an Internet holding company that was established within the Russian "troll factory". The organization's office was on the same street as the "troll factory", whose employees write paid comments in support of the Russian authorities. The director of the portal, as was to be expected, rejected the association of the organization with the "factory".
