An attempt to steal a communication cable was stopped in the Kharkiv region by the Air Force personnel. Information about the incident appeared on the official page of the Air Force Command in Facebook.

It is reported that on September 10 in the Kharkiv region, thanks to the vigilance of the Air Force military men (military units A1215 and A1451), an attempt was made by a civilian intruder to dismantle the cable, which ensures the military connection of these military units.

- Thanks to the operative actions of the military, an unknown person was timely handed over to law enforcement officials. Servicemen who warned against illegal actions of a civilian will be encouraged by the command of military units, - informs the Air Force Command.

Note that since the beginning of September this is the second officially confirmed case of cable thieves' damage by special communication: September 1, 2017 in Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev on the crime scene detained intruders for the theft of 130 meters of special communication cable. On this fact, information about the event was included in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations by h. 2 items. 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Attackers face up to 5 years of deprivation or restriction of freedom.
