For about two decades, the courts of the united Europe have never suffered a serious defeat in a dispute with these or other companies. Everything can change this Wednesday September 6. The decision to punish Intel for monopolistic behavior in the market of microprocessors (PCs) in Europe can be canceled or changed to a softer. In any case, a large note appeared on the website of Bloomberg news agency with hints of the risk of losing the EU in the case against Intel.

The text of the note begins without blunders - the victory of Intel will be a catastrophe for the jurisprudence of the European Union. In a dispute with the EU, other companies are guaranteed to use the Intel method - they will file appeals until they break the resistance of the European Themis. Intel has defended itself on this one case in the European Court for eight years now. This is the longest case in the history of the EU. But also a significant prize - Intel was awarded a fine of 1.06 billion euros ($ 1.26 billion). By the way, for these years the fine in dollars has decreased by $ 400 million. Also money.

Victory Intel will change its behavior in the European Court of Qualcomm, Google and Apple. All of them now under one or another pretext are under close scrutiny of the judicial bodies of the EU. The essence of the resistance of Intel is that you do not have to go to a deal and bargain for concessions.

We must believe in victory and fight for it to the end.

Consideration of Intel's appeal was expected to be implemented next year. This was announced two months ago by Marc van der Woude, Vice-President of the European Court of General Jurisdiction,. Apparently, similar cases of Google and Qualcomm make Europeans quickly identify with the situation on Intel. The final decision will become a precedent for the remaining cases, and what it will be, we will know in a couple of days.
