Apple continues to work in the medical field. Now it became known about the new joint development of the company and Cochlear - a "smart" hearing aid that can be controlled from the iPhone.

Last month, the US Food and Drug Administration approved the release of the Cochlear Nucleus 7 processor. It will broadcast the sound of the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch on the implant, installed to the patient. And also you can adjust the sound.

It is noteworthy that the use of such devices does not require the installation of additional software.

The control will come from the Settings -> Universal access -> Devices for listening.
