Researchers from the University of Carnegie - Mellon in the US were determined to transfer the screen of the smartphone, its applications and touch functions to the owner's desk next to his working computer. To do this, they installed a projector equipped with motion detection cameras in the lamp above the workplace and wrote software that allows adapting the Android interface to the desktop control.

With the help of multi-touch gestures, developers can move open windows on the table, change their size, fasten next to physical objects so that the windows continue to follow them when moving. If an object appears on the table that fences the application window, it automatically jumps to the free space on the table.
