As is known, in 2009 Intel was fined in the European Union by 1.06 billion euros. More precisely, the European Commission decided to fine Intel for such a price for violating European antitrust laws. However, in 2012 there was information that Intel was trying to contest a fine. According to new information, the decision on Intel's appeal will be made no earlier than next year.
The result of the review will be important not only for Intel, which violated the rules of the game on the market for PC processors, but also for other major violators of European antitrust laws - Google and Qualcomm.
