On Sunday, three fishermen in the US sailed four miles from the coast of Key Biscayne in Florida. Suddenly, a storm rose: first a strong wind blew, after which there were huge waves. The struggle with the elements for saving people's lives began. Soon it became clear that the boat would not save.

Fishermen managed to put on lifejackets before the ship went to the bottom. One of them had an iPhone 7, but he could not call the rescue service, because he could not unlock the device with cold fingers. Then the American to use the voice assistant: pronounced "Hey, Siri" and called 911.

"They had an iPhone 7, which, as I found out, is waterproof. The fisherman could not use the screen, since his fingers were cold, but he took advantage of Siri and called 911, "said Sergeant James Barrett.

Siri saves lives more than once. In 2015, an 18-year-old American named Sam Ray was in the process of repairing his car when disaster struck. The jack could not stand the load and the two-ton truck fell on the owner, holding his hands. The guy called for help, but no one heard his screams.

During his desperate attempts to escape, he heard the familiar sound of Siri activation - in his pocket the iPhone button was accidentally pressed.

Quickly realizing that this was a chance to get out, Sam hip re-activated Siri and with the help of a voice command contacted the rescue service and received help.

In 2016, a young mother from Australia named Stacy Gleason, while continuing to perform artificial respiration from her one-year-old daughter, took advantage of Siri to call an ambulance. In March 2017, a 4-year-old boy named Roman from a suburb of London, having found his mother lying unconscious, with the help of a voice assistant Apple called a single emergency number 999 and saved her life.
