So you've left the hospital with your newborn baby and are probably seething with nerves and excitement.! During the first few weeks after giving birth, you will learn about your baby's needs, learn how to be a new mom, and perhaps also welcome many excited visitors.! While getting into a routine is important, the best thing you can do from the start is to be led by your little one.. Once you have a couple of weeks or so, you can start building your routine..

Follow your newborn's daily routine.

Newborns follow their own daily routine, sleeping and eating when their bodies need it, so trying to dictate the rules can be tricky.. Instead, you can try to tell night from day by changing the way you feed and interact with your baby depending on what time of day it is..

Don't worry about a strict schedule, but remember that a daily routine is good because it helps you provide stability for your child and allows you to better plan your day, ensuring that you get the rest you need.. It's also about listening to your intuition - most moms instinctively know what's right for their baby, but worry about following their gut feelings.. Try watching your newborn and you will gradually get used to what he needs - whether it's feeding time, naps or even just cuddles.!

Your newborn's habits may seem to change every day at first, but you will soon notice that they will change from week to week and then every two weeks.. Every baby has a different lifestyle, and it's important to keep track of how their habits relate to each other..

If something doesn't feel right, it's usually because your child's natural lifestyle has been disturbed in some way, so just take a second look at things and maybe try to make sure he eats well at regular intervals.. Often, once you've figured out their feeding schedule, everything else will follow.! Your baby will be happy because he has a full tummy and will sleep well and not doze off. So when it's time to wake up, they'll be rested and ready for anything.!

Create your own daily routine.

Having your own lifestyle is natural, so why not use an individual daily routine when caring for a child? For example, when you change a diaper at home, you can have your own changing area with everything you need close at hand.. Or maybe a cell phone above your child's head so they have something to look at while you change it..

When you bathe your baby, you can line up all the necessary items and create a special bathing environment to make your life easier and safer for your little one.. Having everything ready in a certain order when you bathe your baby will keep him warm and help remind you of what to do next.!

You can even have your own feeding schedule - choose a comfortable chair, prepare a glass of water and a muslin handkerchief or cloth in case the baby burps later..

Little things like this every time will help you create your own natural lifestyle as a mom, make baby care easier (you can pay more attention to him), and make you feel more relaxed and balanced as a person..

This may mean a little preparation at first, but you will soon get used to collecting everything you need and turning everyday activities into rituals.!

Ask for help.

Finally, no one judges you or expects you to be perfect.. All moms need help from time to time - some more than others - so if there's anything you want to know, just ask for advice.. Don't be afraid to chat with your midwife or health visitor when they visit - they are there to help you and your baby after all..
