Parliament supported the bill on mandatory mass testing for coronavirus

The Verkhovna Rada adopted on the whole bill No. 3380 "

336 deputies voted for the document. The bill is recognized as urgent.

The document provides for the possibility of involving interns and specialists in the fight against coronavirus without assignment or confirmation of qualifications. Such doctors will be called on conditions and subject to the restrictions that the Ministry of Health.

Also, the bill is about increasing the amount of temporary disability benefits to health workers who are on self-isolation considering contact with a COVID-19 patient while on duty - up to 100 percent of the average wage (income) regardless of the length of service.

The draft law proposes to ensure that the Ministry of Health conducts mass testing at COVID-19 (both at the inpatient and outpatient levels, depending on medical indications for hospitalization).

The bill also spells out a number of instructions to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which, inter alia, relate to: updating testing algorithms at the outpatient level; identification of health facilities (first, second, third wave) and specialized hospitals for receiving patients with coronavirus;

prioritization of filling out such medical facilities in accordance with the latest international recommendations; ensuring the development of training instructions for medical workers and the extension of relevant training that is already underway; ensuring the publication of all information regarding the response to coronavirus disease.

As of May 7, 13 691 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine, of which 507 in the last 24 hours. In total, 340 people died due to coronavirus in Ukraine, 2 396 were cured. Reports about it " Ukraine"
