Diets, healthy food, healthy products - this all dazzles the Internet, advertising and tabloids. And now we decide to change our diet, but it does not take long, we will soon return to our past habits.

Researchers from the Plymouth State University decided to conduct a study that helped understand why it's so difficult to fight destructive behavior on the topic of eating.

According to the authors of the work, the culprit is evolution. Habits in food are regulated by the "reward system" that has arisen, which is needed to survive a person, and also so that he learns to recognize what is good for him and what is not.

Most of all, this topic is relevant for people who grew up in poverty, when you do not have enough food, and the diet was poor and little variety. Parents of foster children, whom they took from poor countries of the world, speak of a food disorder, and this is taking into account the fact that children are given everything, as much as they want, according to the news portal Planet Today.

Also, scientists do not advise parents not to try to control their child's diet, let alone induce him to diets, as this leads to serious unsettling consequences when the adult is already changing his diet.

Food has a strong emotional tension. Most of the human food habits are built within the "reward system". Food is not only vitamins, minerals and nutrients that support the normal functioning of our body, but also a great value for a person in the psychological sense.
