The Cabinet of Ministers together with the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is working on the development of a transparent single nomenclatural register of all medicines.

This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleksandr Sayenko.

"Now we are working with the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to make a transparent register from the nomenclature of all medicines," Saenko said..

According to him, this will be a single integrated online database, which will allow to track at what prices medicines will be purchased by all regional budgets, and also the remnants of medicines in hospitals.

Saenko also noted the effectiveness of public procurement through the system ProZorro.

The minister said that now the programs "Available medicines" are successfully working in the cities, which is planned to be extended to the countryside. For this program in the state budget for 2018 is 1 billion UAH. On the development of cardiological centers allocated 150 million UAH.
