Drinking alcohol during pregnancy badly affects the reproductive system of the fetus, resulting in a drop in the quality of the sperm of future fathers.
A large-scale study conducted by Danish doctors and described in a report made at the 26th meeting of the European Society for Reproductive Medicine and Embryology showed that in women who had abused a drink during pregnancy, sons in adulthood had fewer sperm in the sperm.
If a control group of non-drinking families had 40 million spermatozoa per milliliter of seminal fluid, then those whose mothers drank more than 4.5 "drinks" a week, the doctors counted only 25 million.
