This was reported by the chairman of Kharkov Regional State Administration Yulia Svetlichnaya during her working trip to Izyum rayon.
She noted that this year repair works are being conducted on about 20 social and infrastructure facilities of the district.
"One of the most important facilities is the city hospital. It was in the Izium hospital that not only one life of our defenders was rescued, but from 2014 they were brought here from the ATU zone. The hospital, built in 1975, has never been completely repaired. We will correct the situation, "said the chairman of KHOGA. - The hospital will be overhauled. It is necessary to make the insulation of the hull, replace the windows and doors, make a new roof, repair the internal premises and chambers, replace the heat and water supply systems ".
The head of the region managed to get funds for repair work from the State Regional Development Fund - 28 million UAH.
Also, according to Yulia Svetlichnaya, the regional and local budgets will be connected to financing.
"We have a clear work plan. In the near future tender procedures will be held, and in a few weeks we will start repairing. In addition, we will help the hospital with medical equipment, "- said the head of the region.
Izyum city hospital serves residents of the city and Izyum district, as well as neighboring Borovsk and Barvenkovsky districts. The hospital comprises 8 departments, each of which is treated daily by about 40 patients.
Speaking about the plans for the development of the region's infrastructure, Yulia Svetlichnaya noted that when choosing priorities, she will rely on the opinion of the community.
"There are many plans for the development of the district. We will gradually allocate resources and be sure to listen to the community in order to be identified with priority tasks. First of all, we will do what people need, "stressed the head of KHOGA.
Among such objects - Bukinsky waterpipe, whose repair was started in 2016.
"We continue to address the issue of providing residents of the area with quality drinking water. Over 40 years this has not been done. We began to be engaged in reconstruction last year, we plan to finish it in this ", - noted Yulia Svetlichnaya.
