The American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning on Friday about the dangers of applying permanent make-up.

Now, the agency is investigating 50 reports of side effects of tattooing, including scars, swelling and tumors (granulomas). Other complications are cracking, peeling and infection of the skin of the eyelids and lips, which, as a rule, begin with allergic reactions. In some cases, inflammation led to deformation of the face, making it difficult to chew food and speech.

When modifying the human body, there are no guarantees of "safety" - from infections, including HIV, from suppuration and t.

At the moment, the FDA report only features permanent make-up products, manufactured by Premier Products, a trademark of the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics (American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics).

As the company president Sandy Hammons noted, such complications are not related to product quality, and are typical for all intradermal cosmetic procedures. The approximate frequency of the complication is one case per 200 000. Meanwhile, the company will review the report of the FDA, and as a result, appropriate measures will be taken by medicus. En.
