A study conducted for the QVC television channel showed that one in three women would never leave the house without make-up. And almost 23% (every fourth) corrects make-up after 2-3 hours, writes The Daily Mail.

According to experts, for some women the lack of make-up can be a real tragedy. On average, they think about their appearance 9 times a day. And three out of ten women do not consider going out without lipstick.

Interviews and first visits are one of the most stressful situations in which women are worried about their appearance and are prone to apply makeup abundantly. At the same time, more than a third of women said that they are worried more about how they look in the eyes of other women than in the eyes of men.

The psychologist Dr. Linda Papadopoulos, who directed the research on the effects of skin diseases on the human psyche, notes: "The way a person feels is related to the way he looks".

The study also showed: 30% of women confessed that the last thing they think about in the evening is cosmetic procedures and personal care, and for 16% this is the first thought in the morning.

Every fifth woman adopts a self-care routine from her mother.

For example, every third inhabitant of Yorkshire sees the imposition of make-up as the most important part of the day. And the inhabitants of the north-west of Britain think about their appearance, at least once an hour. 23% of residents of the north-east of the country adhere to the regime of self-care from the very first day, as they tried cosmetics.
