The use of vinegar leads to weight loss in the waist

Regular consumption of vinegar promotes the burning of fat in the abdomen and, thus, is an effective means of fighting the external manifestations of metabolic disorders, according to Japanese researchers from the Mitsukan Institute.

Scientists conducted a study in which about 200 men and women participated in three months. Participants in the experiment had to drink twice daily a fixed amount of apple cider vinegar.

As a result, it was found that the average waistline of the participants in the experiment, who consumed 30 ml of vinegar per day (1500 mg of acetic acid), was reduced by 1.85 centimeters. The positive effect, although not so impressive, was recorded when using half the amount of vinegar, and its weaker concentration.

The researchers intend to present the results of the study at the next meeting of the Japanese Scientific Society of Nutrition and Food, and to continue work in this direction, the Tokyo press notes..
