New models of cars in the EU countries should be equipped with a new system of warning about accidents ECALL.
In cases where a car with new equipment falls into a serious accident, the system automatically transmits the incident data to the relevant emergency services via the satellite navigation system.
It is expected that the new system will help reduce the response time for a car accident by approximately 50-60 percent.
The innovation only transfers the data necessary to assist, and does not fix them.
For new models, the ECALL system has become mandatory in Europe since March 31.
