The British authorities have banned the use of software from the Russian company Kaspersky Lab in agencies that are responsible for national security. This is written by the Financial Times.

According to the publication, the head of the National Center for Cybersecurity (NCSC) Kiaran Martin sent a warning letter to representatives of all government departments. The letter states that Kaspersky's anti-virus "poses a risk".

"Where it is supposed that access to information from Russia will be a risk to national security, do not choose the antivirus of a company based in Russia," the letter says..

Martin said that it is about the agencies that are responsible for foreign policy, international negotiations, as well as the defense of Britain.
