The plane was discovered near the Nord Stream pipeline in the western part of the Gulf of Finland. The bomber is at a depth of 100 meters.

Its length is 11 meters, the wing span is 18 meters.

Marine archaeologists point out that this is an American bomber "Douglas DB-7 Boston / A-20 Havoc", which was used during the war.

The find will be handed over to the state management of museums, the exact location of the aircraft is not specified.

According to experts, such a find is a huge rarity, since usually after falling into the sea the aircraft are divided into several parts.
