On Friday, January 17, in Ruhpolding, Germany, the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup continued with the men's relay.
Our team was represented today by Dmitry Pidruchny, Vitaly Mandzin, Anton Dudchenko and Taras Lesyuk.
Pidruchny started first, used an additional cartridge on the firing lines, but managed to maintain speed and passed the baton to fourth.
Mandzin was much more successful. Having successfully shot, Vitaly brought the team to second place, losing only to the French. But Dudchenko and Lesyuk did not have enough speed, and our team came to the finish only sixth.
But the French team won the race again, beating the Swedes by more than half a minute.
