Valencia has identified Javier Aguirre as the main candidate to appoint the team's head coach. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the remaining contacts between the club and the 67-member specialist were positive.

The leadership of the Valencia sports department highly appreciates the professional qualities of the Mexican coach, his character and approach to work. The club believes that Aguirra can add energy to the team and help the players fully realize their potential.
