Pro Ref has confirmed that VAR has made amends at the hour of the episode with Earling Holland's goal in the Manchester derby. Manchester City beat Old Trafford with a 1:0 score, and the Norwegian scored the only goal in the 60th goal.

From the start, the referee takes the catch and makes it through Goland's offside position.. However, after checking VAR, having established that the attacker was in the correct position, the goal can be awarded.

Just under the hour of this attack, Enzo Fernandez was offside and wanted to play near the ball. Pro Ref noted that the Argentinean did not touch the ball, so the situation with his influx on the episode was subjective.

According to the organization, VAR did not recognize the possible influx of Fernandez’s position and recommended that the referee take a look at the moment of the monitor.

Pro Ref has already contacted Manchester United to inform the club about the deal. The organization will also conduct a thorough investigation of this episode.

Earlier, Lisandro Martinez called the decision a total injustice, and Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick also criticized the work of the referees and VAR.
