Vice-President of Kharkiv Yuriy Korotun shared his thoughts on the situation with the contract of striker Oleksiya Sidorov, a transfer certificate which Russia had previously requested.

" Last year we received information from the UAF about those in the TMS system (Transfer Matching System - approx.. ) having applied for an international transfer certificate for the football player Sidorov, in connection with his transfer to an amateur club from the aggressor country. . After Oleksiy started illegally and deprived the country and our club of his own accord, he left the country and now wants to play football in the “swamps”.

We immediately went to the UAF and discussed our further affairs in this food. The club and the association, obviously, are against the fact that a football player who has formal contractual obligations to the Ukrainian club can simply ignore these obligations and deny the possibility of acting for another. Already we have directed the main sheets to FIFA, but we understand that only the cob. Although this is a serious, isolated episode, for us this does not deprive the nutrition of a particular football player. We are talking about the extension of contract discipline, the protection of the rights of the club and the principles of football law. I personally want to expressly thank the UAF for its principled position and support for our club.

It cannot be allowed that the violation of a formal contract at one stage would allow a football player to legalize his status through another club and actually circumvent the rules.

What is most shocking about this situation is that, in the fifth stage of a large-scale invasion, we are still faced with similar, seemingly incredible scenarios.
