The Argentine defender leaves the London club after five seasons and rewards the fans for support.

Christian Romero returned to the Tottenham hospital with farewell messages before moving to Atletico Madrid. The Argentinean captain spent five seasons at the London club's warehouse, and last year was its captain.

“Today I say goodbye to a place that, over the course of five seasons, was richly greater for me, not just a club. This is my home, my cry and this place, where we and my homeland have been such an important part of our life.

I deprive you of my heart, my knowledge of my thoughts, and my great pride for everything we have experienced and achieved.. When I arrived here, I had a clear vision: to lose my name in the history of this club. I know that the only way to get to this point is an important work, self-sacrifice and the achievement of what seemed so difficult for so long: to once again raise a trophy over my head.

І we have earned.

Our path will not be perfect, but I don’t want it to mean my farewell. I collect memories of happy moments, lessons learned, people who were in charge of me, and, first of all, love, which I took away from these five fates..

To everyone at the club who walked this path with me. Coaches, teammates, staff and the skinny people who work behind the lashtuns - all of them are part of my story and occupy a place in my heart.

And now to the sick days: thank you for those who loved me, respected me, and from the first day they thought of me as one of you. For the skin, for the skin, for the song, for the skin, for the splashes of skin, and for those that you have always charged.

I know that I won’t be perfect, but one thing will calm me down:

I’ve given everything away. I stole this T-shirt with pride and with all my heart.

I THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

I'll deprive the club, lest part of my heart be lost here one day. . Today I go, otherwise I will lose one of you. . . “Goodbye, Tottenham,” Christian Romero wrote on Instagram..

. During his entire stay in London, Romero played 156 matches in all tournaments, scoring 13 goals, giving 7 assists and winning the European League.
