The Chilean Colo-Colo officially voted on the signing of the Cape Verdean national team goalkeeper Vozinya. The 40-year-old goalkeeper joined the new club with the status of a free agent.

The financial minds of the parties will not disapprove of the transition. According to Transfermarkt, the contract has been confirmed until completion in 2026 and there is an option to extend for another season.

It was previously reported that interest in Vozinya also showed the Moroccan Renaissance Berkane.

During his career, the goalkeeper played for clubs in Cape Verde, Portugal, Moldova, Cyprus and Slovakia, among them Progreso, Zimbra, Gil Vicente, AEL Limassol, Trencin and Chaves.

Vozinya gained worldwide popularity after the 2026 World Championship, allowing the Cape Verdean team to sensationally make it to the 1/16 finals. At the playoff stage, the team gave a serious blow to the world champions at that time - the Argentine national team, sacrificing a 2:3 score.
