Gianni Infantino's positions ahead of the FIFA presidential elections may be stolen. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, at least 20 national football associations are discussing the possibility of showing their support to the official official of the organization.

While Infantino had previously secured the support of over 200 associations, the situation changed after the project was created by the subsidiary FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE). This company itself plans to transfer the rights to commercially manage key tournaments, including the world championship.

According to preliminary estimates, FFE's share price may be reduced by 20 billion dollars, and the organization intends to sell 20% of the shares to private investors. Some football officials view this period as a test of trust in the current FIFA president.

At this time, UEFA is looking to close consultations on a possible candidate who could resist competition from Infantino in the 2027 elections.

PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is among the potential candidates, although he has no plans to announce his candidacy.

According to Dzherel, FIFA has not yet commented on the situation. One of the reasons is the persistence of a single position among Infantino’s closest associates. Previously, the president of the organization also pledged up to 40 million dollars in funding to national associations and praised the sale of part of the world championship's commercial rights to private investors.
