Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic completed his refereeing career. The Football Union of Slovenia officially reported this.

The last match in the professional activity of the 46-year referee was the final of the World Cup 2026, in which the Spanish team in the final hour minimally beat Argentina with a 1:0 draw.

At the final World Cup match, Vincic defeated the Argentine fighter Enzo Fernandez, showing his friend his card.

In addition, after a VAR review, Spain's goal was denied due to a foul on the side of Mikel Merino against Nicolas Otamendi. The Slovenian was the main player at the world championship, having competed in several matches.
