Newcastle have intensified negotiations for the transfer of Tottenham star Lucas Bergvall and have completed a serious deadline before his signing.

According to insider Nikolo Skiri, the club from St. James's Park is ready to pay 60 million euros for the 20-year-old Swede. Such a sum itself, in the opinion of the Newcastle administration, can be used by Tottenham to sell one of its most promising footballers.

However, the London club has not yet identified its position for a possible transfer.

Bergvall arrived to Tottenham in 2024, moving from Djurgarden for 20 million euros. Played 78 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 9 assists.

According to the Transfermarkt portal, the market value of the Swedish midfielder is expected to be 45 million euros.
