Zbirna Haiti completed training with head coach Sebastien Mignier after competing at the 2026 World Championships. The parties were planning to terminate the contract for an additional year, as reported by the press service of the local Football Federation.

The 53-year-old French Frenchman has voted against the national team since 2024. He once again wrote his name into the history of local football, having succeeded in leading the Haite team to the World Cup in just 52 years (the first and only appearance of the country on the world front).

In its official statement, the Haiti Football Federation praised Mignet for his “professionalism, dedication and self-sacrifice” during his time working with the national team. It appears that the decision to separate was made on mutual grounds to allow both parties to continue to crumble.

On the sidelines of the so-called World Cup, the Haitians were unable to finish the group stage, finishing in the remaining place of Quartet C. The team suffered three defeats against three opponents: Scotland - 0:1, Brazil - 0:3, Morocco - 2:4.
