Milan officially voted to appoint 46-year Spanish coach Sergio Navarro as head coach of Milan Futuro.
For Ukrainian patients, Navarro knows well at work in the Carpathians. The Lviv club itself became for him the first proof of independent work on part of a professional team - the Spaniard won the “green-white” team in 2017, but remained there for many months, in 8 matches.
After completing the Ukrainian stage of his career, Fahivets turned to Spain, working with the coaching staff of Paco Lopez in Levante. Years ago, from 2022 to 2025, the development system of young football players was carried out by Atletika, and last season was spent as the head coach of the Ukrainian Debrecen.
Milan Futuro plays in Serie D and is Milan's reserve team. In the 2025/26 season, the team finished in fourth place in the tournament table, gaining 56 points from 34 matches. With this team, Navarro is introducing a new stage in his coaching career.
