Scotland head coach Steve Clarke is no longer with the national team. The Scottish Football Association announced the completion of the procedure.

The decision was praised after the Scots wasted their chances of reaching the 1/16 finals of the 2026 World Cup. The team failed to make it to the playoffs from the third place in its group, having scored just three points from three matches..

Clark Cheruvav was selected for Scotland in 2019. During this period under his leadership, the team played 81 matches, won 36 times, drew 16 times and suffered 29 defeats.

Under Clarke's leadership, Scotland was able to qualify for the World Championship for the first time since 1998. Now the national team is looking for a new head coach.
