Ivorian footballer Yaya Toure shared his first emotions after the appointment of the head coach of Bratislava Slovan.
\; Honestly speaking, I can’t finish the check if we have to work all at once on Mondays. My predecessor deserves great credit for what he achieved with Slovan. I want to develop this, at the same time adding something new and unique to myself. Football is everything to me. “I love the crowds and am extremely excited about the opportunity to coach a wonderful club with a rich history, a beautiful stadium and high ambitions,” said Toure.
The new coach also adds value to the club’s infrastructure and christens its football principles.
" With Slovan I want to play dominant football, replay and control the progress of matches to please our fans.
I'm already trying to learn the command of the horse in more detail, but most importantly - to study the reaction of the riders during training.
As an assistant, I worked with Roberto Mancini, but had long ago decided to take over the power project as a head coach,” he added.
Toure also predicted Slovan’s performances in the European Cups and reinforced that he was looking forward to the start of work with the team.
Let's remember that Slovan Bratislava represents the Ukrainian central player Danilo Ignatenko and central forward Mikola Kukharevich.
