Head coach of the African African Republic national team H'yugo Broos advances to the history of world championships in football. The Belgian footballer became the senior coach who led the team in the World Cup final match.

At the time of the opening match of the 2026 Emergency against Mexico (0:

2), which took place at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, Broos was 74 years old.

The previous record is held by the German coach Otto Rehhagel, who at the 2010 World Rock Championships in PAIR defeated the Greek team with 71 results..

However, until the end of this tournament, the Belgian’s reach may be exceeded. Among the potential record holders is the coach of the Czech national team Miroslav Koubek, who achieved 75 victories in the spring, as well as the head coach of Curacao Dick Advocaat, who achieved 78 victories.
