Current Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been re-elected to his position.

It is noted that the 79-year-old Spanish official won the election, competing with businessman Enrique Riquelme.

As reported on the official website of Los Blancos, Perez received 65% of the votes - he was supported by 21,741 voters. Riquelme received 35% of the votes - 11,814 people voted for him.

Now Perez will continue to lead the Madrid club until 2030.

It is worth noting that Perez first became president of Real Madrid in 2000 and held this position until 2006.
