Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet officially retired from his professional career. The 38-point gate informed the social media X about its decision.

The Belgian's career has included playing for St. Truiden, Bruges, Sunderland and Liverpool. The greatest success has been achieved by the Merseyside club, having won the Champions League in the 2018/19 season.
