German goalkeeper Ralf Fehrmann officially announced the end of his professional football career.

The Schalke ex-goalkeeper admitted that he had deliberately taken a break to evaluate possible options for extending his career, but without dismissing the proposition that he would be stuck.

" My career is over. I deliberately gave myself an hour to fall asleep, because I would show up in a hurry and in a hurry, but for the rest of the month there were no such propositions, so that I would say that they were consuming them.

I no longer wear goalkeeper gloves in professional football,” Fahrmann is quoted as saying by Transfermarkt.

The 37-year-old German spent most of his career at the Schalke warehouse, winning 289 matches in all tournaments, conceding 388 goals and keeping a clean sheet 90 times..

Besides this, Fahrmann also played for Eintracht Frankfurt, having played 19 matches, and Norwich City (3 matches). Since last summer, he has had the status of a free agent.
