UEFA has encouraged English Premier League clubs to expand entries into the Champions League. The Guardian reports this.

According to Dzherel, English clubs asked to expand the application for the main European Cup tournament from 25 to 28 players, and UEFA approved this request.

It is noted that representatives of La Liga clubs spoke in favor of saving the flow limit for 25 citizens, who respect that Premier League teams can restore their greater financial status in order to cancel the clause.

There is information that UEFA may return to this food before the start of the 2027/28 Champions League season.

All bets for the 1/4 finals of the Champions League were announced earlier. The matches will take place on 7/8 and 14/15 April.
