Attacking defender for Arsenal Eberechi Eze became the author of the historic achievement after scoring a goal in the match of the 1/8 final of the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen. Squawka tells you about it.

Eze opened the rakhunok in the 36th half of the match, effectively completing the attack after the pass from Leandro Trossard. Having caught the ball in front of the penalty area, the midfielder prepared the shot with one dagger and pushed hard with his right foot at the top corner of the goal, not depriving the opponent’s goalkeeper of the chances.

This goal was special for Eze, and also became the only other Englishman in the history of Arsenal to score in the Premier League, League Cup, English Cup and Champions League in the same season.. Previously, a similar achievement was supported by Theo Walcott in the 2012/13 campaign.

Eberechi Eze moved to the local Arsenal from Crystal Palace last summer for 69.3 million euros. Since then, he has played 43 matches for the Gunners (2600+ matches), scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists.
