According to Lequipe, the French Professional Football League has already informed its partners about similar initiatives that were previously carried out during championship matches.
The reason for this decision was the superchicks that were associated with the action in the future. Football figures were encouraged to support the campaign, covering up the rainbow symbols on their uniforms or even boycotting matches.
Among the participants, who had not previously taken part in the action, were Nemanja Matic, Mostafa Mohamed, Idrissa Guie, Abdu Diallo and Mohamed Camara.
