Ingul goalkeeper Anton Zhilkin commented on his team’s performance in the 1/4 finals of the Ukrainian Cup against Dynamo Kiev (0:2).

“Pershochergovo is a pain in my heart, because here... I’ll say right away that two teams played on the same field, and the field could have played either to our advantage or against us. I haven’t marveled yet, but I will marvel - I think that the field in this game did not play to our advantage. Ale, perhaps, Dynamo deserves to overcome this, because the stench, perhaps, squeezed more, threatened our gates more. We decided on this tactic, we figured out who we were fighting against, we figured out how we would fight. And I think that, especially in the first half, we played Dynamo here and made them think so that the stench would be transferred a little to another.

On both sides, we are the First League team, and Dynamo are the grandees of Ukrainian football. There was no pressure on us, we went out even calmly, freely, without anyone having experienced anything from us, so here all the freedom played to our advantage.

Possibly, Dynamo, as a leader, was to blame for the stink of him. It happened, it happened.

For me, a save is important, because a save gives the team faith, it can be a turning point if you make a save, and then the team scores. Unfortunately, Dynamo squeezed us and won, but we gave all our strength. I am dedicated to everyone for this fight,” Zhilkin said on the UPL TB broadcast.
