UEFA took a look at Benfica's brutality following the episode involving Real Madrid's struggling player Federico Valverde and did not impose the same disciplinary sanctions on the Uruguayan.

The incident took place in the first stick fight for the right to play in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, which Madrid minimally defeated with a 1:0 draw. In the 82nd match, Valverde, in the fight for the ball, gave the shot to defender Samuel Dahl, after which the Portuguese club's player fell on the lawn.

The head referee of the match, Francois Letexier, did not record the damage that could lead to a forfeiture. Benfica respected that the episode earned a red card, and went to UEFA with official money.

However, based on the information of the Spanish media, the disciplinary bodies of the organization did not provide a framework for punishing the football player. In this way, Valverde will lose his availability for the upcoming matches of the tournament.

Dodamo, Osasuna fans booed Vinicius before the match against Real Madrid.
