At the match of the 1/32 final of the English Cup, Nottingham Forest recognized a painful defeat against Wrexham, which is in the Championship. The main hour and the additional 30 minutes ended in a productive draw 3:3, and in the penalty shootout the Gospodars came out on top - 4:3.

Wrexham worked hard through the first half and finished comfortably at the break. The goals were scored by Liberato Cacace and Oliver Rathbone, who made amends for the visiting defense.
